McDonald’s has announced that it will be dropping two breakfast favourites from its menu, and customers are not happy.
In a post shared on the chain's Twitter, they revealed that Breakfast Bagels and Breakfast Wraps would not be returning to the menu.
Saying the decision was made “following a trial separation period” and that their “love for the iconic McMuffin was simply too hard to ignore.”
Ending the heart-felt message by saying "it's now time to say, "that's a wrap" and Bagel."
Bad news: Bagels and Breakfast Wraps are officially gone from the menu.

Good news: You can get a McMuffin for 99p today via the McDonald’s App…
…you’re still thinking about the bad news, aren't you? pic.twitter.com/5dAH7fBYLJ
Although the sad news has hurt many, the fast-food chain did hint that a new breakfast item may be hitting the menu later this year.
Plus to ease the pain they are offering 99p McMuffins just for today via the McDonalds App.
McDonald's fans react
For some, the news was too much for a Monday morning, with one Twitter user saying:
Not only are you never giving us bagels again, you're telling us on a damn Monday morning. Mcdonalds who?

Another user even said the bagels were the only breakfast item they liked and they’ll never have a McDonalds breakfast again:
The wraps and bagels were the only breakfast items we ate in this house 😭 I’ve not had a maccies breakfast since the start of the pandemic and now looks like that was the last one I’ll have. I hate them muffins and the flatbreads are even worse

Whilst some just wanted to know why the chain had made the decision to remove the two breakfast items.
Can you at least tell us why they aren't coming back? You removed them when you re-opened after the first lockdown. We assumed it was due to space in the kitchen.
