A MOTORIST had to be extracted from his vehicle by emergency services following a crash yesterday evening, Sunday.
Three fire engines from Warrington, Birchwood and Lymm fire stations rushed to the scene at the roundabout junction of Winwick Link Road and Winwick Lane at junction 22 of the M6.
This was after they were informed of a one-vehicle collision involving a van shortly before 8.30pm.

Fire crews assisted paramedics in extricating the man from the van.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service confirmed that one ambulance attended the scene and took a patient to hospital.
