A Daresbury company has adopted a four-day working week following a successful trial period.
Fox Group International, based at Cinnabar Court, decided to implement this to improve their employee’s work-life balance, whilst also having a positive impact on their mental health.
Currently supplying over 30,000 customers worldwide, Fox Group have established itself as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of aesthetic products.
The four-day work week highlighted benefits to the company, such as increased productivity.
The implementation of the four-day working week has seen a hugely positive impact in countries such as Iceland, with companies reporting improved levels of efficiency and enhanced employee happiness.
Michael Foxley, CEO of Fox Group said: “Creating a good culture for our employees has always been a key priority for us at Fox Group.
“This feels like the natural progression for the business, and we hope it will have a big impact on the mental health and wellbeing of our employees.
“We have found a way to continue to serve our customers five days a week whilst also providing an invaluable extra day of rest for our employee’s without cutting holiday days or pay, so it seemed like a no brainer!”
