ONE man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a three vehicle crash on the M56.
The collision happened shortly before 7am at junction 10 on the eastbound carriageway.
One car overturned at the exit slip road at Stretton.
Police say the collision also involved two horses which were on the carriageway.
The eastbound junction of the motorway was closed but all lanes have now reopened.
The M56 eastbound slip road at junction 10 leading to the A49 Tarporley Road in Stretton has now reopened, nine hours after the crash.
