RHIANNON Dixon is getting herself prepared for the biggest stage of her young boxing career.
On Saturday night, the Great Sankey lightweight's fourth professional fight will see her box at Manchester's AO Arena under the promotional banner of Matchroom Boxing – one of the biggest names in the sport.
Dixon, who has won all three of her fights so far and is trained by former world champion Anthony Crolla, takes on Paola Pamela Benavidez in a six-round bout on the undercard of the heavyweight rematch between Britain's Derek Chisora and New Zealand's Joseph Parker.
The 26-year-old was supposed to feature on a Matchroom card in Liverpool in October, but her opponent withdrew on the eve of the fight.
Her Argentinian opponent has won eight, lost five and drawn three of her 16 fights and this will be the first time she has fought outside her home country.
Dixon's fight will be available to watch on the DAZN streaming service.
