A NEW comedy club has been launched at FC2 as the venue’s events programme kicks back into gear after the restrictions.
Giggle Shack is coming to Warrington after originally launching in Helsby in 2017
Creator and host Colin Havey said: “I started the night because I wanted to bring the very best comedians in the UK to smaller venues, outside of the big cities, and give people the chance to see some top class comedy without shelling out a fortune on tickets as well as taxis and babysitters.”
The Giggle Shack now operates in three venues across Helsby and Runcorn and was named ‘Best Independent Comedy Club’ and the 2020 North West Comedy Awards’
The night in Warrington will be at FC2 in Barbauld Street – the sister venue to Friars Court – on Sunday, October 3.
Mick Ferry, as seen on Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, is headlining.
He will be joined by XS Radio Comedian of the Year Dawn Bailey and Adam Staunton, who has performed alongside the likes of John Bishop.
Tickets are £8 from jokepit.com
