WATER supplies to 16,500 customers across Warrington will be shut off for planned work to by United Utilities.
The company will be carrying out repairs to a leak on a 24" main today, Monday.
The areas of Warrington affected by the shut-off are: Blackbrook, Padgate, Orford, Cinnamon Brow, Woolston, Fearnhead, Bruche, Paddington, Birchwood, Oakwood, Locking Stumps, Howley and Manchester Road area Water supplies will be shut off at 10.30pm on the Monday evening and will be restored by 7am on Tuesday morning.
Customers affected by the shut-off have already been notified.
Bosses say the work is not related to the water mains burst which occurred last week. They say that incident was resolved lasy Monday evening.
