DETECTIVES investigating a serious assault have released CCTV footage of a man wanted in connection with the incident.
Cheshire Police are appealing for information over the ‘altercation’ at a garage on Northwich Road in Lower Stretton, which occurred at around 4pm on Friday, February 19.
One man was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries during the incident, but was later discharged after receiving treatment.
The force has now released CCTV footage of a man who officers believe ‘may be able to assist with their investigation’.
Detective constable Darren Burns said: “We appreciate that a lot of time has passed since the incident, but we have been working through a number of enquiries to trace those responsible.
“As part of those enquiries, we have identified a man who we believe could help us with our investigation.”
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number IML921223, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
