A PREMIUM steakhouse is launching in Stockton Heath tomorrow, Thursday.
Tomahawk will open for the first time at 4pm when it will aim to take a bite out of the village's coveted food and drink scene.
The 85-cover restaurant will be taking over the former Bistrot Pierre unit in London Road to offer the ‘finest Himalayan salt dry aged heritage and rare breed steak around’.
There will also be specialist cocktails, mouthwatering desserts like the melting chocolate bombe and much more from executive chef Tom Sturman who has created a new menu for the development.
“Let’s not forget our famous Tomahawk Sunday sharing board with three roast meats and all the trimmings, not to mention the most amazing array of cocktails, wines and beers," he added.
As well as offering luxury nights out, Tomahawk Stockton Heath will be open for full English breakfast from 9am and lunch options such as burgers, wraps and the signature shawarma board.
Howard Eggleston, Tomahawk co-founder, said: “The response we have had from the people of Stockton Heath has been beyond overwhelming, with support on social media in its thousands.
"Our last Facebook post reached close to 200,000 people and is by far the biggest reaction we have had to a new opening for a Tomahawk Steakhouse."
General manager Zoe Monk added: "We are really flattered to have such excitement and anticipation surrounding the opening – it’s been a long time coming and I’m really proud being a part of the team from the beginning, especially being from the area. We can’t wait to welcome the people of Stockton Heath through our doors.”
