AN Irish dancing teacher from Cinnamon Brow is ‘delighted’ to be opening his new dance studio in September.
Kieran Rogers, who is also a primary school teacher, has secured a new location for his dance school which has been running for 10 years.
Rogers Academy of Irish Dancing will be running classes from the upstairs of Sacred Heart Parish Centre which is currently being decorated.
The Irish dancing classes cater for two and half year olds as well as adults and focus on not only dance skills but sociability skills and promoting culture.
The 44 year old’s dance classes attract children from not only Warrington but from across the country, namely Manchester, Wales and Stockport.
Kieran’s pupils have also completed at world level standard, and some are even world medal holders.
Kieran, an international champion dancer, said : “”The classes allow children to immerse themselves in culture and to learn something new.
“They allow them to learn new skills like technical and social skills and overall wellbeing and development.
“I am proud to say I have worked with a lot of children here in Warrington and those children have stayed with me straight through to the age of 21.
“It’s a journey.”
Kieran is 'thankful' for the parish of Sacred Heart for allowing the dance school the opportunity.
