Haven't blogged for a few weeks , it has been MANIC!

lol before christmas set in we took the kids on a christmas fantasy weekend at butlins ( skeggy! ) , it was FANTASTIC!! kids had a fab time although Charlie wasn't quite so impressed with a change in his routine and new surroundings which made it a bit hard going at times , we *cough* ok I had a "great" idea that we would travel on the train instead of using the car as it has been a tad tempremental of late and would cost around the same in petrol as it would train fare! Was soooooo hard with three kids , the girls were fine and loved the new adventure ! they spent most of the journey on my ds until the battery went ! ( silly mummy forgot to charge it up DOH!) luckily we got a seat together but Charlie spent the first few hours of the journey very tired and very grumpy and trying desperatley to bang his head on the table and window or anything ( or anyone !!! ) else in view. We got off and changed over at nottingham with about 4 minutes to get to the other train so a mad run along the platform with 3 cases a pram a baby and 2 kids was probably very amusing to anyone looking on lol. Other than that it was a really good journey lol!!

Coming back was much easier for some reason and i think i would do it again ( but not until Charlie is older !! ) Then of course was the Christmas period of chaos and madness usually found in a house with young children !! This year my eldest daughter decided that maybe santa wasn't real !!! :O I was HEARTBROKEN!!! LOL totally gutted !! But in a desperate bid to get one more year of excited anticipation as they were going to sleep told them to listen out for the sleigh bells ... she looked at me with a very much "watever" face and went off to sleep. I sneaked up about 20 minutes later and jingled bells in the hallway! Didn't hear a peep so resigned myself to the fact my little girl really isn't so little now ( boo hoo! ). Christmas morning came and the first thing out of her mouth .....

"mum i heard sleigh bells" !!! Queue me very happy hehehehe but i'm sure this will be the last year i can get away with it which is really sad as a parent lol.

New year was fairly quiet , we planned on staying over at the mother in laws but Charlie was really unhappy and stressed so we came home about 1am lol and thats it ! , well for another 11.5 months !!!
