She was stopped on the M56
A DRIVER has been arrested after being tracked on the M56.
A member of the public reported the woman swerving on the motorway on Wednesday afternoon.
According to North West Motorway Police, one driver safely followed the vehicle, giving updates for the patrolling police vehicle to follow.
The car was involved in failing to stop after an accident.
The woman was stopped at junction 10 near Stretton and gave a breath test. She tested 114, when the legal limit is 35.
She later gave a sample of 105 in custody.
The vehicle has been seized
