THE organisers of Stockton Heath festival are hosting a number of events in the village this summer.

A comedy night will be held at the Expedition Bar on London Road on Thursday, August 19.

Top comedians such as Brennan Reece, Hayley Ellis and Martin Moore will be performing.

Tickets are £15 and can be booked directly from the Expedition website.

A Family Fun Day will also be hosted at the Red Lion on August 21, which will include a small selection of free events for children and adults.

Children’s entertainment will be provided from Crazy Kris which will include a magic show at 1pm and two Punch and Judy shows from 3pm.

The day, which is a free event, will end with the Beard Band from 7:30pm.

The Stockton Heath Festival coordinators are delighted to offer this flavour of the festival.

They said: ‘‘We would like to thank supporters and volunteers whose generosity is keeping this important community Festival on the calendar.

‘‘These events capture the spirit of the usual Stockton Heath Festival weekend.

‘‘We hope people join in this year, and look forward to experiencing the full Festival weekend in all its glory in 2022.’’

The events are supported by the Stockton Heath Parish Council and will be hosted by the Red Lion and Expedition.

All events will run with the relevant Covid-safety guidelines in place at the time.
