TWO more patients at Warrington Hospital have sadly died after contracting coronavirus.
The sad news was released this afternoon, Monday, by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in its daily Covid-19 briefing.
It means that the trust’s virus death toll has now risen from Friday to 505.
At present, 16 beds at the Lovely Lane site are occupied by patients that have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 14 days or less.
Of this number, three are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

This is a fall of six patients in total and one ICU patient since Friday.
Moreover, a further 13 patients were discharged from Warrington Hospital over the weekend after recovering from Covid-19
This brings the discharge total to date, to 2,078.
