A NEW eye-catching poster has been created to promote Warrington as a visitor destination on the North Cheshire train line.
Nicky Thompson's piece has been designed for North Cheshire Community Rail Partnership to celebrate the connection between Warrington and Chester.
It is the latest railway poster created by the artist as part of the 'Marvellous Days Out' series to encourage more families to use the train.
The Warrington poster, depicting the Golden Gates, will also be shown at the Making Tracks exhibition which launches at Chester Cathedral tomorrow, Friday, and runs until September 3.

All of Nicky's posters will be on display and Pete Waterman will also present a bespoke model railway that demonstrates the West Coast Main Line – a 74ft model featuring the work of Thomas Brassey.
Nicky said: "It has been nice to add Warrington to the collection of artworks and I am very much looking forward to seeing it exhibited alongside the other posters in the wonderful Chester Cathedral."
Railway enthusiast and Warrington resident Pete has many connections to the town including presenting The Hitman and Her at Mr Smith's in his heyday.
