HERE is a list of roadworks set to start in Warrington in the coming weeks.

A49 > Appleton

Seven weeks of work will start on July 19 on the A49 Tarporley Road from the M56 roundabout to the borough boundary.

It will close daily from 7pm to 1am when signed.

The closure is required for carriageway surfacing.

Bewsey Street, Foundry Street, Midland Way > Town centre

Work will start on July 10 to the railway bridge.

It will mean various footpath closures and driving bans until August 31.

Network Rail will govern access and signs will be used when roads are closed.

Knutsford Road > Latchford

Knutsford Road will be shut from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Kingsway South on July 6 between 8pm and midnight.

This will allow Network Rail to carry our bridge examinations. The alternative route will be via Knutsford Road, Hallaway, Knutsford Road, Wilderspool Causeway, London Road, Grappenhall Road, Chester Road and vice versa.

Wash Lane > Latchford

It will close from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Prescott Street on July 8 between 8pm and midnight.

The closure is required to allow Network Rail to carry out bridge examination works.

Hob Hey Lane > Culcheth

Will be shut from its junction with Claremont Road to its junction with Beechmill Drive

This is for two days from Monday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

It is to allow for British Telecom to renew overhead cables.

Whitbarrow Road > Lymm

Will close for three days from June 28, when signs are in place, from its junction with Statham Avenue to its junction with The Poplars.

This is for BT to install a new pole

Reddish Lane and Reddish Crescent > Lymm

Will close for two days from June 28, when signs are in place.

This is for BT to install a new pole.
