UPDATE: Police confirmed at 10.45am that Mr Sergeant has been located 'safe and well'.
POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for information from members of the public after an 80-year-old man with Alzheimer’s was reported missing from home.
Alan Sergeant has not been seen since he left his home in the Poplars and Hulme ward shortly after 7.30am today, Friday.

He was wearing black pants, a black jacket and blue trainers at the time of his disappearance and may have a carrier bag.

“He has Alzheimer′s and often becomes confused, so we are keen to locate him as soon as possible.
“I urge anyone in or around Warrington who thinks that they may have seen Alan since he went missing to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or CCTV or dashcam footage of him since left her home on foot this morning.”
