A BUSINESS based in Stretton has been named as one of the North West’s 100 best companies to work for.
The home care franchise business, Home Instead, achieved position 43 on the list which recognises organisations that ‘value their greatest asset,’ which is their people.
In addition to making the North West list, Home Instead was ranked number 3 in the 20 Best Health and social care companies to work for, as well as placing 25th in the UK’s 100 best small companies to work for.
The best companies to work for lists recognise commitment to employees and the importance of employee engagement as part of a business’s success.
Home Instead’s People Director, Karen Dakin, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded and recognised in all three categories.
‘‘At Home Instead UK, our strong values have clearly shone through and helped us achieve our people mission - that Home Instead will be recognised as a forward-facing company that you aspire to work for, work with, or recommend.”
The accreditation has been granted to the company’s National Office: a team of 79 comprising of departments including business development, care quality, IT, marketing and legal support.
Together they support Home Instead’s 227 franchise offices across the UK, helping them deliver quality care to their communities.
Keeping staff engaged has always been a top priority for Home Instead.
Speaking about this, CEO Martin Jones said, “I’m a firm believer in keeping your team motivated and inspired, and that’s one reason why we place so much importance on employee engagement.
‘‘To be recognised in three categories of ‘best companies to work for’ is an absolute honour.
‘‘We will maintain this spirit and continue working as a team to change the face of ageing.”
