THE candidates who will be battling for seats across the town in the all-out elections on May 6 have been confirmed.
Every seat in the borough will be up for grabs on Thursday, while residents will also vote in Cheshire’s police and crime commissioner election.
The ‘statement of persons nominated’ for the borough and parish elections has been published by Warrington Borough Council.
The elections will take place between 7am and 10pm.
There are 22 wards in Warrington. The council is composed of 58 councillors, who serve for a four-year term.
Labour currently has control of the Town Hall, with 43 seats on the council.
There are 11 Liberal Democrats, the Opposition group, as well as one Tory and three independents.
