Woolston pupils have received a special delivery in time for Easter thanks to builders working close to their school.
David Wilson Homes, who is building homes on Orchard Meadow in Appleton, has donated Easter eggs for all children at Green Lane Community Special School.
Bethan Law, family liaison at Green Lane, said: “The pupils at Green Lane are delighted to receive the kind donation of Easter Eggs from David Wilson Homes and Barrett Homes.
“Every child in school received an egg which was an eggs-traordinarily kind gesture, thank you from all of the staff and children.”
Robert Holbrook, managing director of David Wilson Homes North West, said: “As one of the UK’s leading developers, it is really important that we support the community in the areas in which we build.
“Green Lane Community Special School has been working hard to support students and staff throughout the pandemic and we are happy to support them with a donation of Easter eggs.
“We hope that all of the students have a fantastic Easter and in difficult times like these we’re encouraging more people to support their local community.”
