THE number of people testing positive for coronavirus in Warrington continues to fall.
According to the latest Public Health England numbers, 177 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the past seven days.
That is a rate of 84.3 people per 100,000.
Compared to the week before, 192 people tested positive.
The figures have been stable at just under 200 people for the past few days.
They are similar to numbers last seen in September before the second wave.
The small number of cases is also reflected in patient numbers at Warrington Hospital.
As of lunchtime on Thursday, 66 patients had tested positive, with seven in intensive care.
