Lanes reopen on M62 after separate crashes on both sides of the carriageway
TWO separate crashes occurred on the M62 in Warrington this morning, Monday.
Both happened between junction 11 for Birchwood and junction 12 for the Eccles Interchange on the eastbound and westbound carriageways.
The first accident heading westbound saw two lanes closed due to a collision at around 7am.
All lanes have since reopened and traffic is easing.
The second occurred on the eastbound carriageway at approximately 8.30am and involved two cars.
Traffic is said to be coping well, but one lane is still closed as the vehicles are recovered.
