A NEW nationwide lockdown will commence in England on Thursday.
But unlike the spring lockdown, elite sport will be able to continue behind closed doors.
This has been announced on Twitter by the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport, Oliver Dowden.
This means Super League will be able to conclude the season.
The competition is currently structured to lead into play-offs semi finals on the weekend of November 20-22 and a Grand Final at KCOMS Stadium on Friday, November 27.

The changes mean people should WFH where possible
But where this is not possible, travel to a place of work will be permitted - e.g. this includes (but not exhaustive) elite sport played behind closed doors, film & tv production, telecoms workers
