TOM Lineham will miss the majority of the season after being found guilty of a "squirrel grip" on Castleford's Alex Foster.
The Wire winger will serve an eight-game suspension and has also been fined £500.
Lineham contested the decision at tonight's independent panel hearing after he was referred under a Grade F charge of Other Contrary Behaviour.
However, the panel dismissed the former Hull man's challenge.
Depending on Wolves' progress in the Challenge Cup, Lineham could be missing until the penultimate game of Super League's regular season.
