THE latest coronavirus data for the town sets out the total number of tests performed in the community and the success of the Test and Trace tool.
To date, 19,317 residents have been tested in the community.
The number of pillar 2 tests in Warrington has fluctuated substantially over time. After a continued daily decrease in tests during early and mid-June, there was then a steady increase until mid-July.
In the past week or so, it has levelled off at an average of 200 per day.
Pillar 2 testing was launched at the beginning of April and expanded rapidly throughout the month.
The latest seven-day infection rate for the town is also one of the lowest in the north west.
On average there are 203 coroanvirus tests a day being carried out in Warrington and 192 cases have been reported through the Test and Trace tool.
79 per cent of these people provided details of those they had been in contact with.
As of August 4, this total is 986 and 81 per cent of these people have been given advice.
Covid-19 hospital admissions of Warrington residents peaked in early April, and then gradually declined.
Since mid-June, there has been an average of less than one admission per day, and there has only been one admission in the past fortnight.
In total, 137 people have died at Warrington Hospital.
The first death in almost a month was recorded on Wednesday.
