REGULAR readers of Nappy Hour will recall that Emily's first adult tooth was emerging recently.
Well, the latest on this saga is that her milk tooth is still hanging in there... by a thread.
Emily sits at the dinner table waggling it with her tongue, conjuring memories of Albert Steptoe.
The parents' tooth union at Emily's school still has to make a decision on the going-rate to be paid by the Tooth Fairy for the said peggy, however.
I've been told in no uncertain terms that 50p is decades out of date and if I try to go down that particular fiscal route, then the kids will go on strike.
I think the words 'minimum wage', 'slavery' and 'shoving children up chimneys' were used in the heated negotiations.
I'll keep you posted.
