ARMED police arrested four suspects during a series of raids on Friday night.

The National Crime Agency executed search warrants at properties in Chapelford and Appleton at around 7.30pm on June 12.

A man and woman, both aged 35, were arrested at an address on Newark Drive while a 21-year-old woman was detained on Vermont Close.

Another 35-year-old man was arrested on Dingleway.

Firearms and dog units were spotted at the latter address, with the NCA operation having been supported by Cheshire Police.

All four suspects were held on suspicion of misconduct offences, but have since been released under investigation.
