A THIEF who filled his car up with petrol but drove off without paying on four separate occasions has been banned from the roads.
Steven Mannion, from Whitecross, pinched quantities of fuel worth £40.01, £30.02, £25.56 and £30.01 from petrol stations in the town between October and December last year.
The 29-year-old, of Wellfield Street, admitted four counts of making off without payment at Warrington Magistrates Court on Friday, March 27.
He was disqualified from driving for four months and told to pay in compensation of £125.60 plus £85 court costs.
