A STORE full of food has been donated to those in need across Warrington.
Last week, TK Maxx closed all of its UK stores including the unit in Golden Square Shopping Centre.
The company decided to donate all of the food to its communities which totalled more than £5 million worth of stock.
Joe Kavaney, store manager of TK Maxx in Warrington and his team donated their food to Warrington Food Bank, Room at the Inn and Haven House Wellbeing Centre.
They also sent tea, coffee, biscuits and snacks to staff at Warrington Hospital.
Organisers behind Free Food Warrington on Facebook are picking up bags of food to deliver to families in need.
Joe said: "It was great to see smiles on people’s faces during this difficult time.
"I felt really proud to be able to help so many people in need."
