RESIDENTS in Old Hall are celebrating this morning after winning £1,000 each thanks to their postcode.
The nineteen people who live in Ellesworth Close netted the windfall when WA5 8QJ was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery today, Wednesday.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.
She said: “I’m thrilled for our winners. I’m sure this news has made their day.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Maggie’s which has received over £16.1 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Maggie’s runs a network of cancer support centres across the country.
