A SCAFFOLDING company is planning a major upgrade to its Woolston base.
Omega Access North Ltd has applied for planning permission from Warrington Borough Council in order to renovate its home on New Cut Lane.
This would involve the demolition of the existing prefabricated office buildings and canopies, which are used for storing scaffolding, and the construction of a new two-storey office and a new storage space.
It hopes that the scheme will ‘remove poor quality, inefficient old buildings and regenerate the site’ and allow for expansion – with 10 jobs set to be created as part of the plans.
Planning application documents stated: “It is proposed to upgrade the existing scaffolding facility – the modular office building will be replaced with modern, high quality accommodation.
“The new offices will provide a central area to support the continuous growth of the business.”
