FORMER Wire hero Adrian Morley is swapping the rugby pitch for the theatre stage this week.
The former cup-winning prop is joining the likes of Andy Burnham and Justin Moorhouse as a guest narrators at Dr Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical during its run at The Lowry in Salford.
A selection of well-known faces from the worlds of sport, comedy, TV and radio have been announced as guest narrators during the run at The Lowry.
Throughout the run they will open a number of specially selected performances with a reading from the original book to bring together the magic of Dr Seuss’ original and the musical adaptation.
Moz will appear at the 7.30pm performance on Wednesday.
Other well-known faces include current Salford captain Lee Mossop, BBC Radio Manchester presenter Chelsea Norris and funnyman Justin Moorhouse.
The show stars comedy legend Griff Rhys Jones as Old Max alongside X-Factor's Matt Terry as Young Max, and Edward Baker-Duly as The Grinch, the world-famous festive mischief maker.

Featuring the hit songs 'You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch' and 'Welcome Christmas', Max the Dog narrates the show, as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is two sizes too small, decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos.
