WARRINGTON South’s parliamentary candidates faced off in a hustings hosted by BBC Radio 4’s PM programme.
It recorded the show from Bold Street Methodist Church in the town centre on Tuesday night.
It will be broadcast on today’s show and available for residents to listen back to.
PM programme presenter Evan Davis was joined by Labour’s Faisal Rashid, Tory Andy Carter, Liberal Democrat Cllr Ryan Bate and the Social Democratic Party’s Kevin Hickson.
Clare Aspinall, who is standing for the Brexit Party, did not show up.
A number of questions were taken from the audience – with the candidates challenged on key issues including Brexit, universal credit, housing, green belt development and climate change.
