The house has been like a sick bay the last couple of weeks !

Charlie was really poorly first he woke up being sick then seemed fine until later on at night he started vomiting blood ! not masses but enough to scare the daylights outta me !

After a 4 hour wait in A&E before he was even assesed by a dr he was let home on antibiotics for a poorly ear and pink throat and we were told the blood was probably a tear in his throat but nothing to panic about unless it worsened ! luckily it settled, until a few days later he was coughing in his cot i went over and there was blood all over his pillow !! went to on call dr who said if it happens again to go to gp and ask for blood tests but touch wood *touches head * it hasn't since and hopefully wont again !

I haven't been great for a while, well truth be told since having Charlie ! but mostly the last 3 months or so , i went into hospita for some tests a cpl of weeks ago which have come back to show i have ulcerated colitis , was kinda expecting it as there is strong family history of crohns disease which is the same kind of thing and in the same group of disease! Have been in agony with it and generally feeling rubbish most days ! but i'm a mummy and mummys can't get ill !!!! So frustrating because Charlie is quite a demanding baby at the best of times bless him and i think hes really bored with the mummy that doesn't wanna crawl after him and play all day long ! Am on a course of treatment but it isn't really working so i go back in a couple of weeks and hopefully i will be able to get sorted on a new treatment ! Am on a really high dose of steroid at the moment , have been for a few weeks and it makes me feel so lousy !! and it isn't making any difference ! it didn't when they tried it a couple of months ago ! I am starting to wonder if the side effects justify the lack of difference it is making to be honest !

I also managed to disocate my ankle about a month ago when i was on the trampoline with the kids ( *blushes* ) and this week finaly got out of the big ski boot splint i was in ! Was like something out of storm trooper lol and you could hear me clunking with every second step ! so annoying !!!!

They say it comes in 3's so hopefully that is our lot for a while !
