GREAT Sankey High School are Wembley winners after triumphing in a dramatic Champion Schools final.
The Warrington school trailed 8-0 going into the closing stages as Standish High School of Wigan closed in on victory.
However, after Josh Cowell's try and Daniel Regan's conversion had pulled it back to two points, Lucas Mulqueeney dived over for the winning try with what proved to be the final play of the game.
Great Sankey's Oliver Garmston was also named as player of the match.
