FIVE arrests were made after police seized a large amount of cannabis during a raid in Gorse Covert.
Officers executed a search warrant at a property on Flaxley Close on Thursday, August 1.
Three 18-year-olds, a 17-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
The latter has since been released without charge, while the four teenagers have been released under investigation pending further police enquiries.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “On Thursday, August 1, officers from the Warrington Local Policing Unit executed a warrant at an address on Flaxley Close.
“Within the property officers, discovered a large quantity of class B drugs.
“Four men – three aged 18 and one aged 35 – along with a 17-year-old boy were arrested at the address on suspicion of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.
“The 35-year-old has since been released without charge while the four remaining suspects, who are all from the Warrington area, have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
