A HUGE emergency services presence was reported on Bridge Foot at rush hour yesterday, Monday.
Three fire engines and several police cars were seen near to the former Mr Smith’s nightclub from around 5.30pm onwards.
Officers spoke to a 28-year-old woman and helped her to safety.
They were on the scene for around 40 minutes.
She was helped from the area and taken into care.

Police were also seen carrying out searches near to the bridge linking Brian Bevan Island with Centre Park.
