A GUNMAN, an online fraudster and a paedophile who laughed in his victim's face were among the Warrington criminals brought to justice in June.
Every month, the Warrington Guardian takes a look back at some of the court cases that have been featured in the paper in the weeks previously.
Other defendants appearing in June included a motorist who threatened a fellow road user with an imitation firearm during a road rage incident, a drug dealer caught with heroin and crack cocaine stashed in a Kinder egg and a warehouse worker who was kicked in the head after sparking a mass brawl outside a nightclub.
These are 14 criminals who were sentenced by the courts in June:
NAME: Jake Bartram
AGE: 24
COURT: Chester Crown Court
DATE: Tuesday, June 4
CRIME: Possession of an imitation firearm, possession of cannabis with intent to supply, offering to supply cannabis, possession of a bladed article, possession of an offensive weapon
Drug dealer Bartram threatened a fellow motorist with what later transpired to be a BB gun during a road rage incident in Lymm.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "The weapons were there to protect the drugs you were supplying and the money you were gaining through the supply of drugs."
SENTENCE: 18 months in prison

NAME: Vasile Lehaci
AGE: 27
COURT: Liverpool Crown Court
DATE: Tuesday, June 4
CRIME: Attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming, attempting to engage a child in sexual activity and sexual communications with a child.
Lehaci was caught in a paedophile hunter sting, in which he told what he believed was a 14-year-old girl that she was 'sweet and sexy'.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "There is no doubt there was an expectation that sexual activity would take place between you and the girl."

A gun belonging to Slaughter was discovered in a house on Helmsdale Lane in Hood Manor.

CRIME: Inflicting grievous bodily harm
The warehouse worker punched a stranger to the floor in an unprovoked attack outside PJs nightclub in the town centre, and was then himself kicked in the head by his victim's friend Dylan Kevlin during an ensuing brawl.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "Even a single blow can have horrendous complications and serious outcomes."
SENTENCE: 150 hours of unpaid work

CRIME: Two counts of burglary, dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking and driving without insurance
The burglar took £250 in cash, copper piping and a CCTV hard drive during a break-in at a plumbing supplies shop in Woolston.

The banker was caught with 50 MDMA tablets stashed in a beer crate, and was one of five Creamfields revellers jailed this month over drug dealing offences at the Daresbury dance music festival.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "You had a bright future ahead of you, but you were tempted by the thought of making easy money and must now bear the consequences."

The paedophile arranged to meetup with an 11-year-old girl and offered to pay £200-an-hour for sex - but was actually talking to an undercover police officer.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "You stated you would love to meet up with her for your own satisfaction and said in graphic and explicit detail what you would do to her, including her spending the night while drugged at your house."

Forced a five-year-old boy to perform a sex act on him in the 1990s, before laughing in the face of his victim when confronted nearly 30 years later.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "This incident still lives with him, it lives with him every single day of his life in consequence of that which you did."
