AN X-rated circus is rolling up in Warrington.

After selling out of its first performance in Manchester earlier this year, Cirque du Vulgar is coming to Orford Park on April 20 and 27.

The risqué, strictly over 18s show will feature mind-bending pole dancing, a high-flying dominatrix, scantily clad hula hoop artists and upside down 'hunks in trunks' among many other acts where 'nudity and naughtiness are the order of the day'.

Three 'Vulgarettes' will also be performing a topless feather dance under the big top while the crowd favourite so far is the performer who emerges out of a full-size bath suspended by elastic wrist cords.

“We’ve promised flesh, we’ve promised filth, we’ve promised stunts. This is one circus show that you can’t take the kids to," said Frank, one half of the comedy duo Frank and Beans, who will be providing the vulgar jokes throughout the show.

Fellow performer Beans plays a foul-mouthed pyromaniac with a penchant for stuffed rabbits.

As well as the risqué side of the act, Cirque du Vulgar will also be more intense than a regular circus show.

Two acrobats star in a big jaw-dropping finale involving a wheel of death which rotates high in the air while they jump and skip across the abyss.

Performers will also be hitting metal chains to the beat of pulsing music and leaping out to dance in the aisles.

Rosie Clarke, spokesman for Cirque du Vulgar, said: “There were more than 100 people on the waiting list who were unable to get tickets to our first Manchester show so we wanted to do two shows in Warrington to make sure no one missed out this time.

“You’ve never seen anything like Cirque du Vulgar before. We wanted to tear up the rule book and create a show which was refreshing, enticing, and aimed at a whole new audience.”

Tickets are £15 each for tiered seating or the £25 VIP package includes a ringside table, service from the Vulgar characters and includes one free drink.

Cirque du Vulgar is presented by the team behind Circus Funtasia who will be performing family-friendly shows under the big top at Orford Jubilee Park from Thursday, until April 28.
