WE asked you to tell us about the best vets, grooming parlours, dog walker or cat sitters in Warrington.
And it turns out we're a town that's barking mad about caring for our pets.
Hundreds of you filled out our Customer Service Awards form for our latest Perfect Pet Care Provider category.
Based on the volume of nominations and the nominations that had a really personal touch, we have put together the following shortlist for readers to vote on.
Votes can be submitted via our online poll at the bottom of this story or by emailing us at competition@nqnw.co.uk with the name of your winner.
(Please make sure you spell your winner's name correctly or your email vote won't be counted.)
You have got until 9am on Wednesday, March 27 to submit your votes.
The winner will be announced in a special supplement in the Warrington Guardian newspaper later this spring and decided based on 50% readers' votes and 50% judges' final decision.
SHORTLIST FOR WARRINGTON'S PERFECT PET CARE PROVIDER
1. The Vet - Cockhedge Centre
One groomer in particular received particular praise in the nominations for The Vet.
Customers said they travelled from as far as Bolton and Wigan for Lana Pocock to groom their pet.
One nomination added she was 'always patient and gentle' while another said she treats all dogs 'as if they were her own'.
She added: "The whole team are so dedicated to the care and wellbeing of animals, they ensure good quality veterinary treatment is affordable to all."
2. Andrea's K9 Walks
Customers said their dogs were always excited when Andrea comes to their door.
Based in Burtonwood, she provides dog walking, lead training, grooming and puppy training.
One nomination added: "She looks after my grand dog every week and she is part of the family now.
"My daughter gets married this year and Andrea is taking her time to bring the dogs to the wedding at Peckforton Castle so my daughter can have her baby boy at the wedding.
"What other dog walker would do that?"
3. Hands and Paws - dog walking and pet sitting
'Committed and caring' is just one of the ways this business was described.
Customers said owner Amy Dolphin is 'one of the most caring animal lovers ever' and 'makes animals feel just as important as humans'.
One nomination added: "She has a way of relaxing the animals and they bond with her straight away due to her warmth and passion for animals and care."
4. Vets for Pets - Latchford
Nominations for this Latchford veterinary practice said the team treat their pet 'like family members'.
Another added: "Iain and his staff are super friendly, they do the Thelwall carnival and they have raised money for several animal charities too."

5. Chapelford Pet Sitting Services
The woman behind Chapelford Pet Sitting not only runs her own business but was also described as a 'voice for cats' in the area.
Karen Mercer set up a Facebook group to stop cats in the area from being poisoned with anti-freeze as well as campaigning for the council to do microchip checks on animals killed on the town's roads.
One nomination added: "Karen is a special person to our neighbourhood.
"I don't know what I would do without her."
THIS VOTE HAS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR VOTING. WE WILL NOW COUNT UP EMAILED VOTES
