A FOURTEEN-year-old girl has admitted burglary after breaking into a pharmacy and a Greggs store.
The teen, from Bewsey, stole nicotine products during a break-in at a Rowlands Pharmacy in Warrington - then burgled a Greggs in Rhyl less than three weeks later.
On Wednesday, February 20, she was referred to the youth offenders panel at Warrington Magistrates Court following a string of offences.
In all, the girl – who cannot be named for legal reasons – admitted two counts of burglary, two of criminal damage, assaulting a police officer, two charges of assault, two of theft, two charges of threatening behaviour, resisting arrest and two charges of breaching a conditional discharge.
She was also found guilty of two further counts of criminal damage and two charges of racially-aggravated harassment.
On Monday, October 8, the 14-year-old broke into a Rowlands Pharmacy branch in the town and stole nicotine products.
Then on Thursday, October 25, she burgled a Greggs store in Rhyl - taking food, drinks and two loyalty cards.
A series of crimes also saw her smash a window at Card Express on Sankey Street on Sunday, October 14 – causing £1,500 of damage – and stealing £10 of confectionary from Dallam Stores on Harrison Square on Wednesday, October 10.
Praynay’s Mini Market on Haryngton Avenue in Bewsey was also targeted in a number of offences – with a door mechanism being destroyed on Tuesday, September 25, and staff being racially abused on this day and Friday, September 21.
Other offences included destroying flowers and shrubs worth £30 belonging to Warrington Borough Council on Saturday, October 20, assaulting police officers and causing criminal damage to a police car.

But the girl was found not guilty of an arson attack on Habib 786 Ltd on Buttermarket Street in the town centre on Friday, November 2, having alleged set a fire that caused damage to a door at the premises.
Last week, she was handed a restraining order preventing her from entering Praynay’s Mini Market or contacting a number of members of staff for the next three years.
The teen was also referred to the Cheshire youth offenders’ panel for 12 months and told to pay a victim surcharge of £20.
