A DRIVER was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash on the M56.
The 36-year-old man, from Shelton, has been released on bail pending further enquiries as investigations continue into the crash.
The collision involved a blue Honda Civic on the eastbound motorway between junction 12 at Clifton and junction 11 at Daresbury at around 12.30pm on Monday.
Police say there were no reports of any injuries.
PC Tony Garner said: “Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing and I’m keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
“I’m also keen to hear from anyone with any dashcam footage of the incident which may aid the investigation.”
