MIKE Cooper has been named as Warrington Wolves’ player of the year for 2018.
The prop was announced as the winner of the Ken Kelly Player of the Year award at the club’s awards dinner tonight.
Cooper’s stellar form this year has seen him recalled to the England elite performance squad.
Among the other winners of the club awards was Stefan Ratchford, who was named as players’ player of the year, while Joe Philbin picked up the rising star award.
Former Wire prop Gary Chambers – who is head coach of the club’s scholarship team – was recognised for his contributions with the Lifetime Achievement award.
