A CHESHIRE children's charity is asking for help to make its family fun day the best yet.
The event takes place next Sunday, September 23, at its headquarters in Millington near Lymm.
The free event promises a great day out for the family and last year's day raised £6,000 for the charity and had more than 1,200 visitors.
The charity is appealing for sponsors to help meet the expenses of the event.
Rob Bashforth, community fundraiser, said: “We hold many amazing fundraising events throughout the year, the Family Fun Day is a great opportunity for our community to come together to celebrate the work we're doing here at the adventure farm.”
Entertainment includes nostalgic vehicles from Tameside Classic Cars and Cheshire Vintage Tractors will be on display and mascots from all over the region will be taking part in the charity’s annual mascot race. The force will be strong as Stormtroopers from the 99th Garrison will also be joining in the fun.
Patrons include comedians John Bishop, from Runcorn, Jason Manford and John Thomson.
The event runs from 1pm until 5pm.
If you can help with fundraising call the charity on 01565 830 053.
