WARRINGTON’s best and worst-performing GP surgeries, as voted for by their patients, have been revealed.
The results of the latest annual GP Patient Survey - which asked residents their views on a range of topics including how easy it is to make appointments at their medical centre, contacting the practice by phone and the care they received - were released on Thursday, August 9.
And Parkview Medical Centre, which is based at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, was the lowest ranked surgery in Warrington - with only 63 per cent of patients rating it as good or better.

Other surgeries falling below the national average satisfaction rating of 84 per cent were Penketh Health Centre, Eric Moore Partnership, Holes Lane Medical Centre, Causeway Medical Centre, Greenbank Surgery, Four Seasons Medical Centre and Stockton Heath Medical Centre.
The most highly rated practice in the town was the Manchester Road Surgery - which scored a rating of 99 per cent.
Warrington's average satisfaction rating was 85 per cent, with five per cent of patients rating their medical centre as poor.
Only 64 per cent of residents said that they found it easy to get through to their practice via the phone.
Stockton Heath Medical Centre received the lowest score in this area, with 32 per cent.
Across the town, 68 per cent of patients had a good experience of making appointments overall - with Greenbank Surgery receiving the lowest score of 49 per cent.
Seventy-seven per cent of residents found it easy use surgery services online, with Stockton Heath Medical Centre coming bottom again in this category with 54 per cent.
Dallam Lane Medical Centre was the poorest performing practice in supporting patients with long-term health conditions, with 65 per cent of patients happy with care received in this regard.
On average, 82 per cent of patients were happy with the support they received to manage long-term health conditions.
When asked whether they were happy with appointment times available to them, 65 per cent of residents said they were satisfied - with Penketh Health Centre coming last in this category with 63 per cent.
Eighty-nine per cent of patients in Warrington felt that their mental health needs were 'recognised and understood' by their GP practice.
Dr Sangeetha Steevart, clinical lead for primary care at NHS Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “We welcome the feedback from the GP Patient Survey.
“The results enable us to take our patients’ views into account for our future planning and strategy.
“In times of high demand for GP services we’re proud of the work our practices are doing to continuously drive forward improvements for the benefit of our town, and this is reflected in the areas that we have scored well in.
“We recognise that there are areas for improvement, where we have further work to do to ensure that local people have timely access to primary care when needed.”
