FIREFIGHTERS and paramedics were called to free a man's fingers which became trapped in machinery at work.
Shortly after 2pm today, Friday, a fire engine and the major rescue unit with a supporting appliance were called to the scene on Melford Court in Woolston.
The man's fingers became trapped in a brake caliper at a warehouse.
Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the man, who had two fingers stuck. He was then taken to Warrington Hospital by paramedics.
