SANKEY Way was shut after a car fire burst into flames this lunchtime.
The main road was closed heading into Warrington after the vehicle caught fire near to the junction with Cromwell Avenue at around 12pm today, Saturday.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service have attended the scene, with one lane now reopened.
