DEPUTY Mayor Cllr Karen Mundry marked National Care Home Open Day at Belong care village as the community were invited to a day of tours, live entertainment, arts and crafts and celebrations.
While meeting customers, staff and visitors, Cllr Mundry also joined in with the 90th birthday celebrations of Sam Clark.
The resident moved in permanently after attending an experience day at the Latchford care village two-and-a-half years ago.
Sam is enjoying a new lease of life, even learning to play the trumpet.
