MICK Nanyn of Widnes Vikings is approaching two club season records.
The centre needs nine goals to equal the record 140 by Mick Burke in 1978-79.
Full back Burke played in 47 of Widnes's 50 matches in his record-breaking season, while Nanyn has played in 22 out of 26 matches this season.
Nanyn also needs 34 points to equal the record 388 he set himself last season with 30 tries and 134 goals in 26 matches.
This season he has totalled 354 points from 23 tries and 131 goals.
