CREAMFIELDS is hotting up after weather experts predicted a soaring temperatures for the festival.

Revellers are being told to pack their suntan lotion and bikinis to embrace the heat wave that is expected to hit Daresbury on August bank holiday weekend for the legendary dance event.

According to organisers Cream, temperatures are expected to rival those at the Creamfields events in Spain and Argentina.

Andrew Bond from weather forecaster, Metcheck said: "Azores high is finally nudging north bringing dry, sunny and hot weather to the UK.

"After all the washout festivals this summer, Creamfields looks set to bring the summer back with style"

Temperatures are tipped to top 30 degrees and the hot weather will offer respite from the mud baths that have been an unwelcome feature throughout this summer's festival circuit.

James Barton Creamfields chief executive said: "Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that it will be a nice and sunny day, so its fantastic news that good weather is being predicted."

The start stubbed line up includes The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Kelis and Mark Ronson.

While famous DJs playing are LCD Soundsystem, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, 2ManyDJs, Ferry Corsten, David Guetta and Eddie Halliwell.
